EGERIA DENSA SPECIAL
The common name “duckweed” gives an idea of the growth habit of this plant. Egeria dense is one of the best growers, bar none, and there are absolutely no problems with growing it. Its home is in southeastern Brazil and Argentina, but it has now spread to all continents. The “dense” variety has extremely thick and compact leaf growth along the stem. It also grows very well in ponds, both planted and floating, but is not completely resistant.
