The stem plant, Bacopa australis, has only recently become available on the market. We found this verdant beauty during our Plantahunter tour in Brazil in 2010. At the source of the Rio Sucuri we discovered some beautiful specimens living in crystal clear waters together with other aquarium plants. This plant is very easy to grow. When emerging the leaves are smaller and fleshy, while in the aquarium they are very fragile and thin. Regular pruning is recommended to create a compact group.
