A new and promising foreground plant is Micranthemum tweediei. Unlike the well-known M. umbrosum, this plant does not grow upright, but crawls along the ground like a poster. This novelty is therefore a great alternative to Hemianthus callitrichoides with significantly better growth characteristics.
