JBL IRON TEST KIT – Reagent-Based Test for Measuring Iron Levels in Aquariums and Ponds, 50 Tests
The JBL IRON TEST KIT provides accurate measurement of iron (Fe) concentrations in both freshwater and marine aquariums, as well as garden ponds. Iron is an essential micronutrient for aquatic plants, but its availability must be balanced: deficiency can lead to poor plant growth and algae issues, while excess can be harmful, especially in ponds and marine systems.
This test uses a laboratory-grade color comparator system, which compensates for the inherent coloration of the test water, ensuring precise and clear readings. The test is user-friendly: simply fill the two plastic vials, add the reagent, insert them into the comparator block, and match the color against the reference chart.
It is particularly recommended for:
Community aquariums and aquascapes with active plant growth
Tanganyika and Malawi tanks with targeted fertilization
Marine aquariums and ponds, where iron levels must be strictly controlled
Regular monitoring helps maintain a balanced, healthy aquatic environment. JBL also provides access to its Online Laboratory, where users can enter their test results and receive a comprehensive water analysis with recommendations.
Main features:
Reliable iron measurement in freshwater, marine tanks, and ponds
Supports optimal plant growth and algae prevention
Includes all test components: reagent, vials, comparator, syringe, color scale
Up to 50 tests per kit, refill reagent available separately
Integrated with JBL Online Laboratory for result interpretation
Why choose JBL IRON TEST KIT:
Accurate iron monitoring is essential for successful plant care and overall aquarium balance. The JBL Iron Test Kit combines scientific precision with ease of use, making it a must-have tool for aquarists and pond keepers seeking natural water conditions and healthy plant development.
