Natural White Live Sand 0.5–1.7 mm is a premium marine substrate composed of natural aragonite, collected from pristine marine environments and enriched with active marine biofilm. Part of the Ocean® Bio-Activ Live® range, this live sand offers instant biological activation, eliminating the need for traditional cycling and making it possible to add fish immediately upon setup.
With a medium grain size of 0.5–1.7 mm, this sand provides an optimal balance between substrate stability, water flow, and natural aesthetics. It’s suitable for most saltwater applications except undergravel filtration systems. Simply place it in the tank, add saltwater, start the filtration system, and you’re ready to introduce fish—following safe stocking guidelines during the initial month.
