How to Set Up the Tropica CO2 System Bio
Prepare the base solution
Pour 300 ml of warm water (about 50°C) into the provided bottle.
Seal the bottle with the cap (without the air nozzle) and shake vigorously for 1 minute until well mixed.
Leave the bottle at room temperature for at least 24 hours, allowing the mixture to solidify.
Meanwhile, submerge the CO2 diffuser in clean water.
Activate the CO2 production
After 24 hours, dissolve 1 portion of Activator in 200 ml of warm water (max 35°C).
Let it sit for 5 minutes, then stir until completely dissolved.
Add the activated solution to the main bottle.
Final installation
Insert the seal into the air cap and secure it on the bottle.
Connect the air tube between the bottle and the CO2 diffuser.
Place the diffuser inside the aquarium.
Wait for CO2 production to start, which usually happens within a few hours, depending on the ambient temperature.
