Fluval BIO CO2 125L

Property:

  • For aquariums up to 125 L
  • Dosage for 30 days
  • With sustainable ingredients
  • Practical and refillable operation

The Fluval BIO-CO₂ Pro is a low-pressure CO₂ system made of high-quality stainless steel that reliably supplies your aquarium with sufficient biological CO₂ through a natural fermentation process.

The CO₂ supply system consists of the following components:

  • a bubble counter with adjustable precision valve,
  • a nanobubble diffuser made of sturdy acrylic with a high-quality ceramic disc,
  • a check valve that prevents aquarium water from entering the system,
  • a 1.5 m long CO₂ hose with a gas barrier that prevents CO₂ from escaping,
  • an activator and a booster for up to 30 days,
  • an overpressure/pressure release valve for added safety,
  • a stainless steel reaction chamber with silicone seal for a reliable CO₂ supply.

Why BIO-CO₂ Pro by Fluval?

Compared to conventional CO₂ systems on the market, BIO-CO₂ works with a safe low pressure operation of maximum 1.3 bar.

Yeast and sugar are not only renewable and therefore environmentally friendly raw materials, they are also safe and easy to transport.

Each of the models provides organic CO₂ for 30 days.

Recommended use

The practical system works in 4 simple steps. First, add the activator yeast, booster tablet, sugar (NOT included) and lukewarm water to the container. Wait 24 hours to allow the mixture to activate to produce CO₂. After 24 hours, adjust the amount of bubbles to suit the needs of your aquarium. Monitor the CO₂ level in the aquarium regularly.

NOTE: It takes less than 10 minutes per month to maintain the CO₂ system!
