CARBO BIO START 60
The Carbo Bio Start 60 bio CO2 fertilization system supplies all freshwater aquariums up to 60 liters with vital CO2. It is ready for use in just a few steps.
The valuable carbon is produced by a 100% natural bio-reaction. Selected microorganisms, in combination with the CO2 Constant gel developed by Dennerle, provide an almost constant amount of CO2 (per filling) for at least 40 days.
In conventional Bio CO2 systems, however, which operate with household white sugar, CO2 production is usually very irregular. It usually starts very quickly, but drops sharply again after a few days, i.e. too much CO2 is produced at the beginning and too little later. These systems are therefore less suitable for practical aquarium keeping.
CO2 production starts after 24 – 48 hours.
A pressure-resistant CO2 hose and a CO2 Mini-Topper specially designed for low operating pressure (or, optionally, a CO2 injector for connection to a Dennerle corner filter 40 or 60) ensure rapid and effective dissolution of the valuable CO2 in the aquarium water.
