HYGROPHILA PINNATIFIDA

Hygrophila pinnatifida is native to India. It gets brown, spotted leaves on the surface with a distinctive burgundy color underneath. It forms multiple horizontal shoots if the upper shoots are pinched. This will maintain a compact and attractive growth. The horizontal side shoots attach easily to both wood and rocks. Growth is moderate, the stems are 15-40 cm high and 10-20 cm wide and the color is attractive when planted in small groups with a uniform background. Bright lighting ensures compact growth due to the slow to medium growth rate of the plant.
