HYGROPHILA CORYMBOSA COMPACT

Very compact variety of Hygrophila corymbosa, with leaves attached to the petiole.

It forms numerous lateral shoots, enhancing the compact appearance. The leaves are a dark brownish green when the plant leaves the nursery, but after a transition period in the aquarium they become pale green and silver-white underneath.

In bright light, newer leaves may turn reddish-brown and in dimmer light, older leaves die after a while. New lateral shoots often form to replace the old ones.
