Petite
Anubias sp. 'Petite' is a mutation that has appeared in cultivation at the Oriental Aquarium Plant Nursery in Singapore.
It stands less than 5cm tall, has very small leaves and a 5-10cm or more rhizome from which the leaves will grow. It branches well and forms dense groups. Not as demanding as other Anubias and does not like high light intensity either.
It is most decorative when attached to rocks or roots and, like other Anubias, should be attached with fishing line until it gets a grip. If planted on the bottom, do not cover the rhizome as this may cause the plant to rot and die. An ideal miniature landscape plant in small aquariums but will also attract attention in larger aquariums.
