Lindernia rotundifolia 'Variegated' grows on sandy banks along streams in Asia. This marbled variant can produce new shoots with entirely green leaves. Cut these shoots back to maintain the marbled appearance. The plant is undemanding and quickly forms compact clumps and may require some pruning.

Lindernia rotundifolia is suitable for both background and mid-ground solitary plants with leaves growing narrowly from top to bottom. A good starter plant that thrives in most conditions.
