BUCEPHALANDRA RED

Red Bucephalandra variety, in pot.
Bucephalandra closely resemble Anubias and should be treated the same. They usually grow more or less epiphytes in or near water.
Bucephalandra sp. 'Red' performs best at lower light levels and is very easy to grow. The leaves are very dark green or buff in color. Numerous tiny white spots and sometimes a faint metallic blue color will appear on submerged leaves. The leaf size is 2-4cm wide, 4-6cm long and will usually have wavy edges.
Do not cover the creeping rhizome when planting. This will cause the plant to rot and die.
