pH is the value that indicates the acidity or alkalinity of a solution. The value close to pH 7 determines its neutrality. In tropical aquariums this value can vary depending on the origin of the fish. Periodically measure the pH value which will be conditioned and directly proportional to the level of dissolved carbonates, measurable with the SHG KH test
