VESICULARIA MONTAGNEI CHRISTMAS

A specialty of Brazilian moss, 1-3 cm tall, called "Christmas tree moss", because of its lateral branching structure that distinguishes it from the common Vesicularia dubyana and resembles fir branches. It is more demanding than the normal Java moss and grows more slowly. It readily attaches itself to roots and stones and, as it spreads in water, requires pruning to maintain its attractive shape.
