"FOXTAIL"

Ceratophyllum demersum 'Foxtail' was found in a smaller tributary in Bolivia during an expedition to Rio Guapore, a border river between Brazil and Bolivia. Ceratophyllum does not have roots as such, but it is still possible to plant it on the bottom of an aquarium and the stems can grow up to 80 cm tall and 5 cm wide. 'Foxtail'

is different because its leaves are closer together and it has lateral shoots, which give it an attractive and compact appearance.

The plant also stands out because it is more rustic and its stems do not break as easily as those of other Ceratophyllum varieties.
