SUFFICIENT FOR 50 MEASUREMENTS

- a) Take, with the appropriate syringe, 2 ml of water to be analyzed and put it in the transparent container.
- b) Add 5 drops of liquid Mg-1 to the water taken, close the container with the blue cap and shake gently for 30 seconds
- c) Add a level teaspoon (the blue one) of Mg-2 and cap and shake for 10 seconds
- d) Fill the 1 ml syringe with the liquid Mg-3.
- refer to the upper part of the black ring of the syringe, do not worry about the possible presence of air
- e) Add the Mg-3 drop by drop into the container until the color of the compound it contains changes from gray to blue.
- Remember to shake, after each drop, 1 or 2 seconds
- f) Hold the syringe with the tip facing upwards and read the level of Mg-3 remaining in correspondence with the black ring of the syringe.
- e)Compare this value with those reported in the table and you will have the concentration of magnesium in the tank.
