Using the unlabeled syringe, add 1 ml of aquarium water to the test bottle. There will be a small air bubble (about 0.05 ml) in the syringe. Do not attempt to remove this bubble.
Using the syringe that has the red label, add 0.5 ml of K-1. There will be a small air bubble in the syringe (about 0.05 ml). Do not attempt to remove this bubble. Shake the test bottle gently for at least 20 seconds.
Add 3 drops of K-2 to the test bottle, holding the bottle as upright as possible. There is no need to rotate it.
Add K-3 drop by drop to the bottle, holding the bottle as upright as possible. Shake gently for 2 seconds after each drop. Continue adding K-3 drop by drop until the color changes from white/yellowish to blue/light blue. The change is very dramatic.
