The Nyos® TORQ® is an innovative high-performance system reactor in a modular design for all types of filter media, such as activated carbon, phosphate, zeolite and biopellets.
Filter media are an essential part of maintaining good water quality in the aquarium. They help to remove excess pollutants and improve the water quality. Often, media are simply placed in filter bags, which leads to channels where not all of the media comes into contact with the water, leaving its full capacity unused.
Nyos® has developed the innovative TORQ® system reactor as a simple and elegant solution to the problem of aquarium filtration. The TORQ® produces a uniform water flow throughout the chamber, offering ideal conditions for every type of filter media.
Modular: The Nyos® TORQ® is an innovative system reactor for all types of filter media. The TORQ® Dock is equipped with an integrated pump and forms the basic unit. The dock is equipped with a universal connector that allows the insertion of all available TORQ® reactor housing sizes.
Frustration-free: With the Nyos® TORQ® we have deliberately avoided screws, hoses and valves. They allow for easy and frustration-free filter media changes in seconds.
Controllable: By turning the cap, the flow can be precisely and seamlessly adjusted and controlled with one hand, without reaching into the water. The sophisticated controllability allows the flow rate to be optimally adjusted to the type and quantity required for the respective filter medium.
High capacity: The pump in the TORQ® Dock has a flow rate of up to 1,000 l/h (264 gph). This allows for optimal use of the filter media and prevents channeling.
Two in one: One reactor, two media - In the TORQ® 1.0 and 2.0 housings, two different filter media can be used simultaneously by inserting a separator into the chamber.
Plug-and-play: The pump is already included in the TORQ® Dock: simply place the body with the media on the Dock and insert. Done.
