LITTLE REACTOR – Compact Upflow Reactor for Aquariums up to 50 Gallons
The Little Reactor by Two Little Fishies is the smallest and most compact reactor in the product line, specifically designed for aquariums up to 50 gallons (190–200 liters). Standing just 18 cm tall, it’s perfect for setups where space is limited yet efficient chemical filtration is essential. It works with a wide range of filter media, including PhosBan and NPX Bioplastics, offering great versatility.
Designed with an upflow mechanism, this reactor forces water upward through a dispersion plate, ensuring even flow distribution across the media and preventing channeling that can reduce effectiveness. It can be hung on the tank rim or placed below the aquarium in a cabinet.
Pump not included. For ideal performance, a recommended flow rate of 20 GPH (75 L/h) is advised. The reactor includes a 12.5 mm (1/2") barbed ball valve, hose barbs, and clamps for easy and secure installation. When using NPX Bioplastics, the NPX screen is recommended. For hang-on use, the extension kit is also suggested.
