Anubias Nangi In Vitro is an aquarium plant grown under sterile laboratory conditions, making it an ideal choice for aquarists who want to introduce plants without the risk of algae, snails or unwanted organisms. Thanks to tissue culture cultivation, every plant is completely free from pesticides, parasites and contaminants, making it especially safe for shrimp tanks, sensitive fish and biologically delicate aquarium systems. This compact Anubias variety, originating from Africa, develops attractive dark green leaves and reaches a maximum height of about 15 cm, making it perfect for the foreground or midground of the aquarium. Like most rhizome plants from the Araceae family, it grows slowly but steadily, helping maintain a clean and natural aquascape over time. Each in vitro cup contains several small plants that can be divided and planted in multiple locations, allowing the creation of decorative plant groups. As with all Anubias species, the rhizome should not be buried in the substrate. Instead, it should be attached to rocks, driftwood or other aquarium decorations so the roots can develop naturally. Anubias Nangi is extremely hardy and adaptable, thriving even under low to moderate lighting and without mandatory CO2 injection, although CO2 and balanced fertilization can promote stronger growth.
