Bucephalandras look very similar to Anubias and should be treated the same. They usually grow more or less epiphytically in or near water.

Bucephalandra sp. 'Maia' has small, slightly rounded green leaves, does best in lower light levels and is very easy to grow.

Leaf size is 2-4cm wide, 4-6cm long and usually has wavy edges

Do not cover the creeping rhizome when planting. This will cause the plant to rot and die.
