When to use eSHa OPTIMA:

Fish do not only need extra care during illness, recovery or quarantine, they need a general level of care. This treatment should be aimed at maximizing your fish's resistance against infections, parasites, injuries and diseases

A daily dose of eSHa OPTIMA will optimize your aquarium water and the condition of your fish will improve. eSHa OPTIMA will also help reduce the number of fish that would otherwise die from disease.

Under what circumstances can you use eSHa OPTIMA:

You can use eSHa OPTIMA with tropical and cold water fish.

Do not use eSHa OPTIMA with marine fish! eSHa OPTIMA is very well tolerated by fish, plants and filters.

eSHa OPTIMA does not pose a threat to fish, plants or filters. eSHa OPTIMA works excellently, especially with tropical fish.

Can I continue filtering while using eSHa OPTIMA?

You can continue filtering on non-absorbent materials such as filter wool, sand, gravel, etc. Always remove "active" chemical filter media such as activated carbon (fresh), UV (lights), oxidizers and resins, as they can have a reducing effect on the action of eSHa OPTIMA. Keep filters running day and night.

Can I take too much eSHa OPTIMA?

Overdosing is not recommended, however, eSHa OPTIMA remains non-toxic (under normal conditions) if more than the recommended dose is accidentally added.

Should I change the water before or after using eSHa OPTIMA?

You will get the most benefit from eSHa OPTIMA if you add it to the water immediately after your regular water change.

Feeding while using OPTIMA:

You can continue your normal feeding regimen when dosing eSHa OPTIMA.

How to dose eSHa OPTIMA:

To treat pathogens and conditions, use a daily dose of eSHa OPTIMA. Calculate the volume of your aquarium (water area only)

Add drops of eSHa OPTIMA to your aquarium by holding the bottle upside down and squeezing the pipette (20 drops = 1 ml)

20 drops per 100 liters per week

Use with other eSHa products:

eSHa OPTIMA can be used with all other eSHa freshwater products! We highly recommend using eSHa OPTIMA with PRO-PHYLL and CRYPTO-PLUS for excellent results!

Using with other brands:

Never combine eSHa products with other brands unless the manufacturer specifically states that it is safe to do so

Bottle Sediment:

You may notice a flaky sediment forming in your bottle of eSHa OPTIMA. This can occur under certain conditions because eSHa OPTIMA does not contain any artificial preservatives. The sediment is a natural compound, is completely harmless and will not affect the performance of eSHa OPTIMA. The sediment will dissolve harmlessly into your aquarium.

OPTIMA helps with spawning:

eSHa OPTIMA creates a more natural environment and this often results in increased libido, spawning behavior and egg release. By performing your usual water change (20-25% should be sufficient) and then feeding a standard dose of eSHa OPTIMA, spawning behavior can be induced.
