For the treatment of ornamental fish affected by Ichthyophthirius (white spot disease) and associated bacterial infections. Ichthyophthirius is one of the most common pests for aquarium fish. The symptoms are white spots that appear on the gills, fins and sometimes all over the body.
The fish appears limp and the fins are lowered or folded. It rubs itself against rocks or aquarium plants in an attempt to rid itself of parasites. When the gills become heavily infested, the fish appears slow in movement and loses weight rapidly.
