The AQUARIO Neo BAG ZEOLITE is an adsorbent for ammonia and heavy metals such as lead and zinc, which works through its natural ion exchange mechanisms. This porous mineral reduces nitrate build-up in the aquarium, which in turn minimises water changes and prevents algae formation.
It also supports the ecosystem in the aquarium by providing organic carbon to promote the growth of beneficial bacteria that break down nitrogen compounds and other pollutants. It also contains two types of energy spheres that provide organic carbon and trace elements to optimise the efficiency of nitrate and pollutant removal. Neo BAG ZEOLITE works both biologically and chemically against nitrogen, chemical compounds and pollutants, making it a comprehensive solution for clean and healthy aquarium water.
Application:
For optimum use, one bag per 60 litres is recommended, and another can be added if a faster effect is required. The Neobag should be placed in a filter where the water flows well, as its effectiveness decreases with slower water flow. Before use, it is necessary to shake the bag about 20 times in clean water, releasing black water - a normal process due to the ingredients of the black energy ball. The energy sphere slowly dissolves within one to two months.
Regeneration
To regenerate the bag, it is placed in 300 ml of liquid with a 10% salt water solution, shaken for about 10 minutes and then soaked for a day. After removing the salt with clean water, the functionality of the bag is restored. Please note that the performance of the bag may gradually deteriorate with repeated regeneration.
