Thai aquarists discovered this plant. In Thailand it is called "Downoi" (little star) and it is easy to understand why (5-10 cm in height and width). Pogostemon helferi is an unusual and characteristic aquatic plant with a compact shape, curled leaves and a surprisingly beautiful green color. With good lighting conditions and a nutrient-rich substrate, Pogostemon helferi forms many lateral shoots that develop small roots, the plant quickly creates an impressive carpet of vegetation on the foreground.
Remove the plant from the cup and rinse the gel thoroughly under running water. Then divide into small clumps (1-2 cm) and plant at a short distance. As it grows, it will form a uniform group of adult plants.
Plant for in vitro breeding - free from snails, parasites and algae. High-quality gel was used as a medium, so it is accepted into the aquarium very quickly.
