Ammania sp. 'Bonsai' – Slow-Growing Foreground Aquarium Plant
Ammania sp. 'Bonsai' is a cultivated aquarium plant with a compact, slow-growing habit, perfect for foreground placement. Reaching up to 15 cm in height, it forms dense, orderly clusters reminiscent of a miniature Bacopa caroliniana. Its round leaves and tidy growth make it a standout choice for both Dutch-style layouts and natural aquascapes.
To maintain its compact form and vibrant coloration, strong lighting and a consistent CO₂ supply are essential. It’s also a great option for nano tanks or aquariums where space must be managed carefully.
Grown in vitro, this plant is free from snails, parasites, and algae. The high-quality gel medium ensures fast adaptation and safe introduction into any aquarium setup.
