MICROSORUM PTEROPUS 'TRIDENT'
Spiderwood, or red swamp root, has now become a true classic in aquariums. The branched, filigree root pieces come from Asian rhododendron plants. Unlike mangrove wood, it does not stain the water, but is originally very light. However, our roots are pre-watered and usually sink quickly.
The filigree leaf structure of the 'Trident' variety looks very harmonious in combination with the finely branched roots of the Spiderwood. Microsorum pteropus 'Trident' grows rather slowly and, like the main form, is very easy to care for and undemanding.
