LILAEOPSIS BRASILIENSIS
Lilaeopsis brasiliensis is a decorative foreground plant. In nature it colonizes river banks and swamps up to altitudes of over 1,000 m. Its grassy appearance is similar to that of Helanthium tenellum, which is why it is sometimes called “false tenellus”. You will have no problems growing it in an aquarium. It prefers fairly cool temperatures and grows very slowly, regardless of whether your aquarium water is soft or hard. Radical pruning, as with a lawn, promotes compact growth.
