ALTERNANTHERA REINECKII 'RED'
No other stem plant can boast such rich colors as this particular variety. Shades of reddish brown to cherry red spread across the stems and the upper and lower surfaces of the leaves. To ensure the most intense colors, this plant requires good lighting and an adequate supply of CO2. The growth rate is generally average, so it is advisable to prune the stems every 6–8 weeks. In discus aquariums this South American plant adds a splash of color when combined with sword plants.
