HELANTHIUM TENELLUM 'RED'
In the past, this herbaceous plant was better known as “Echinodorus tenellus”. For many decades it has been one of the most popular foreground plants and can be called a “classic”. In contrast to the purely green growth form “parvulum”, in good lighting the narrow-leaved form turns reddish-purple – a nice contrast to the bright green cushion-shaped plants such as Micranthemum tweediei. Strongly cut, Helanthium tenellum ´Red´ forms a dense “turf”. In Aquascaping, the individual shoots add a touch of class to the landscape.
