With the EHEIM automatic water refill, you can always keep the water in your aquarium at a healthy level. For sure.
In aquariums without a cover, the water evaporates constantly. However, a lack of water puts the life of the aquarium inhabitants at risk. Because pollutants (including nitrates) and metabolic products concentrate in the water. And in saltwater tanks, the salinity (density) increases.
The EHEIM waterrefill automatically refills the evaporated water. For this purpose, a sensor continuously measures the water level. Simply place the EHEIM water refill outside on the aquarium glass – or, in the case of a saltwater aquarium, alternatively on the filter tank in the cabinet (sump). As soon as the water level drops, the refill pump starts.
An intelligent controller monitors the refilling process and adjusts the water quantity to the needs and records changes. In the event of significant changes, the refilling process is interrupted, so that nothing can happen.
