The Reef Octopus CO2 Scrubber is a universal reactor to help control pH levels within a reef aquarium by lowering the concentration of dissolved carbon dioxide in the water
The ideal pH level for a reef aquarium should be around 8.3 for optimal coral growth. If your aquarium suffers from chronically low pH or you are having difficulty maintaining pH within the desired range, attaching a Reef Octopus CO2 Scrubber to the air intake of your protein skimmer is a great solution to increase and maintain your levels.
