Red Cyano Rx will quickly and effectively treat disease causing cyan bacteria from live rock, live coral and live sand in your saltwater aquarium without harming any of its inhabitants, including the beneficial bacteria when used as directed. How to use the product:
For best results, get as much cyanobacteria as possible from your aquarium. Remove a cup of water from your aquarium. Mix 1 level scoop of Red Cyano Rx in the cup for every 10 gallons (37.9 liters) of water in your aquarium. Dissolve thoroughly and pour the solution into the aquarium.
After 24 hours of completing the treatment, perform a 25% water change and you can now reactivate the protein skimmer, resume use of carbon and ozone, although you may notice that the foam produced by the protein skimmer is extra. If cyanobacteria are still viable, 48 hours after treatment, perform a 25% water change and repeat dosing.
