In smaller volumes, maintaining a balanced nutrient supply is essential, and this substrate ensures stable, long-term nutrition for plant roots without promoting algae growth.
The mix combines fine quartz sand, natural clays, humic-rich peat, and concentrated iron to create an optimal growth environment. The clay minerals act as intelligent buffers, releasing or retaining nutrients as needed, while the natural peat contributes to a slightly acidic substrate, ideal for most aquatic plants and invertebrates.
Additionally, the inclusion of highly porous granules turns the substrate into a biological filter, improving water quality and fostering a healthy ecosystem. How to use:
Spread a 2 cm layer of NanoDeponitMix on the aquarium base, then cover with 3 cm of inert gravel (0.7–1.2 mm grain size). Carefully fill ¾ of the tank with lukewarm tap water (20–25°C), avoiding substrate disturbance. Plant at least 80% of the surface, especially with fast-growing stems. Complete the fill and start filtration.
