LIMNOPHILA SESSIFLORA

Limnophila sessiliflora is a pretty and undemanding plant from Southeast Asia. A great alternative to Cabomba, which requires a lot of light. The stems grow quickly up to 40 cm high and become 3-4 cm wide.
The plant often grows leggy in low light conditions, but this can be counteracted to some extent by stimulating growth with the addition of CO2. It looks best when planted in groups. In good growing conditions it sends out runners and spreads along the bottom. Cut shoots can be planted in the bottom layer, where they will soon form new roots and continue to grow.
Limnophila sessiliflora used to be called "Ambulia".
