Regen Fx is a simple solution for regenerating Blue Life USA’s Blue Fx line of regenerable resin products.
Adding the entire contents of Regen Fx to ½ gallon of RO (reverse osmosis) water or other clean drinking water provides the correct solution to use when regenerating any of the regenerable resins offered by Blue Life USA: Phos Fx, Nitrate Fx, Organic Fx and Softener Fx.
Once Regen Fx has been diluted in ½ gallon of water, it only takes 4 hours, or for best results, soak the Fx resin bags overnight and renew for reuse.
Regen Fx is completely safe and non-toxic to use. As a salt-based product, it may dry out sensitive skin. It is recommended to avoid prolonged contact or wash hands after each contact and use hand lotion to avoid developing dry skin.
When soaking Fx resins, it is recommended to massage the resin bag frequently to ensure that all resins within the bag are exposed to contact with water which ensures a good rinse.
Each Regen Fx is ideal for occasional use and can be easily disposed of without any worries
Instructions:
Empty contents into 1/2 gallon / 2 liters of clean drinking water or other RO/DI treated water. Stir occasionally for 3-5 minutes or until completely dissolved. Remove Blue Life USA media bag (Phos Fx, Organic Fx, Nitrate Fx, Softner Fx) from the filter cartridge and
rinse with clean drinking water or RO/DI treated water for 1 minute while gently massaging.
Rinsing helps remove any solids that may have entered the media bag. After rinsing, place the media bag into the ½ gallon regeneration solution and allow to soak for at least 1 hour (soak overnight for best results), massaging the media bag gently with your hand frequently. Rinse the media bag with clean drinking water or RO/DI water for up to 1 minute. Return the media bag to the filter canister and resume normal operation. Discard the regenerating solution in the sink or toilet - it is completely safe to pour down the sink drain. Do not allow your media bag to dry out or it will become unusable.
** Can regenerate up to 4 bags of any Blue Life resin media, as long as each bag has adequate contact with ½ gallon of mixed solution. Blue Life regenerating resins can be regenerated 6 or more times. Discontinue use of regenerated resin if you notice a reduction in performance
