Ammonia Alert is an indicator for monitoring ammonia in marine and freshwater aquariums. It consists of a waterproof color scale sensor and a replaceable sensitive film. This film, located in the center of the colored display, changes from yellow to green to blue depending on the level of ammonia present. With proper care, the sensor will last over a year. A convenient suction cup is included in the package.
Simply place the pH Alert in a visible position anywhere in the aquarium or filter. It couldn't be easier. There is no need to have any chemicals or perform any testing procedures. When first installed, the response time will be approximately 30 minutes. Thereafter, pH changes will be recorded every ten minutes. The service life of the pH Alert sensor may vary depending on numerous parameters of the tank.
To replace the sensor, remove the worn-out sensor from the board. Using tweezers, remove the adhesive paper from the new sensor and attach it to the board. Press firmly. Avoid touching the surface of the sensor with your fingers.
Ammonia test duration: 1 year (fresh and salt water)
pH test duration: 3-6 (fresh water)
