PERMANENT CO2 TEST
With this special test you can easily and permanently measure the CO2 content in your aquarium. The indicator liquid changes color and can be easily compared with the appropriate scale. This then displays the CO2 content in mg/L and the pH value. Up to 6 different values can be measured.
Conventional long-term tests are usually filled with a mixture of aquarium water and an indicator. The disadvantage is that acids present in every aquarium, such as humic acids, nitrates, etc., can distort the test result and require a prior measurement of the carbonate hardness. This Dennerle test, on the other hand, works with a ready-to-use solution that does not need to be mixed, but is used pure and no KH measurement is necessary.
The product is not suitable for measuring the content of liquid carbon fertilizers in aquarium water, such as Carbo Booster Max or Carbo Elixeir Bio, as they do not contain CO2, i.e. carbon dioxide, but other carbon compounds
