Newly formed corals often introduce unwanted organisms, parasites or impurities into the aquarium, which can endanger the existing coral population. Tropic Marin® Coral Clean effectively removes the most common epiphytes, parasites and impurities in one easy-to-use bath. The extinct organisms allow an immediate check of the results, which shows whether further bathing is necessary.
n which the coral is housed during the treatment. 1 ml of Tropic Marin® Coral Clean is added to every 100 ml of water in the prepared container and mixed well with the water. The young coral is completely immersed in this short bath and left to stand for ten to fifteen minutes. Before reintroducing the coral into the aquarium, it should be gently agitated in the bath to remove sediment and unwanted organisms adhering to it.
Coral crabs should be carefully removed before treatment and reintroduced to the coral after treatment. The quality of the aquarium water should be checked regularly to maintain the health of the corals.
Note: In some cases, it may take up to two days for the coral to fully open up after the bath.
Tropic Marin® Coral Clean is phosphate-free and gentler than other types of purifying baths such as Lugol's reagent or fresh water.
