DISKUSZUCHT PASTONE STENDKER

COLOUR 100g

Our advice for simple and complete nutrition of discus fish:

feed our discus fish continuously 3 times a day with our STENDKER discus fish food. It has been tested for more than 47 years in our breeding company as an exclusive feed. Our food is also willingly eaten by other fish

Dosage and nutrition Feed your fish 3 times a day with our STENDKER discus fish food. 1 time in the morning (1 hour after turning on the light). Once in the middle of the day (preferably always at the same time). Once in the evening (2 hours before the lights go out). Discus fish will get used to this food on a regular basis and will eagerly await you. Feeding by hand is possible and very fast (of course the hands must be free of cream and soap, well brushed under running water)

Dosage of our STENDKER GoodHeart discus fish food: Our food is perfectly suited as an exclusive food; please do not overfeed and absolutely defrost beforehand. (Tip: start defrosting the evening before by placing the food in the refrigerator in a preserving container with a lid.)

For 10 discus fish: - from 6.5 to 12 cm you need approx. ½ - 1 blister (2.5 - 5 g), so 7.5 - 15 g per day is needed; - from 12 to 18 cm you need approx. 1 - 1½ blisters (5 - 7.5 g), so 15 - 22.5 g per day are needed

Give the fish approximately as much food as they can eat in five minutes

Do not feed more than this feed because uneaten residues significantly worsen the quality and values of the water. Discus fish do not have a strong sense of satiety and excess feed can cause the fish to overfeed

Before feeding our feed must absolutely be defrosted! Our discus fish do not like hard food and will lose their appetite if they bite into something frozen. Furthermore, frozen food can (in some cases) also cause inflamed swim bladders or intestinal infections in discus fish. Depending on the size of the tank and the number of fish, good results were achieved with 2-3 feeding points, thanks to which even the weakest fish in the group have a good chance of reaching the food

You can cut and portion the food well with a knife or spoon to administer it. Our discus fish and also other associated species eat our food very quickly and willingly. If for reasons of time you cannot organize the feeding of your fish 3 times a day, it is usually sufficient to feed them only in the morning and in the evening. However, the daily amount of feed must remain the same. However, in the case of smaller discus fish (less than 8 centimeters in size), it is recommended to maintain three meals a day to ensure regular growth.
