PhosBond is a revolutionary new product that combines the phosphate removal capabilities of aluminum oxide and granular ferric oxide in a single material resulting in a synergistic effect. It quickly removes phosphates and silicates in both fresh and marine water, thanks to the synergy between the two oxides, which work as if they were a single element. Its high porosity and its large contact surface give it a strong filtering capacity, at the same time the integrity and resistance of its structure mean that it does not crumble due to mechanical stress
For best results the product must be rinsed before use and placed in an area with good water flow
It is recommended to use the product inside a sock for filtering materials
Use 60 ml every 200 liters in sea water or every 400 liters in fresh water
Leave the product for 4 days, then do a water test
If the concentration of the components you are trying to decrease have not fallen below 0.02 mg/L, change the resin in the tank, otherwise leave the product until the values rise again
The product appears to be efficient as long as the concentrations remain under control. Phosbond is not an exchange resin and does not release any substances into the water
It does not release the phosphates or silicates it has absorbed into the tank and can also be removed, dried and reused until it runs out.
