Natural White Live Sand 0.5–1.7 mm is a high-performance marine live sand made from pure aragonite, collected directly from natural marine environments. Part of the Ocean® Bio-Activ Live® series, it contains a living marine biofilm with active nitrifying bacteria that instantly start the nitrogen cycle, eliminating ammonia and nitrites from the very beginning.
This ready-to-use substrate requires no curing time—just place it in the tank, add saltwater, start your filtration system, and you can begin adding fish gradually from day one. Its medium grain size (0.5–1.7 mm) offers excellent stability and water circulation, supporting beneficial bacteria and providing a solid base for corals, live rock, and marine invertebrates.
Natural White Live Sand is suitable for most saltwater aquarium applications (excluding undergravel filters) and is superior to cultured sands thanks to its natural origin and established biofilm. The 9.07 Kg bag is ideal for medium to large marine setups, offering a safe and effective start for any reef or tropical marine system.
