LITTORELLA UNIFLORA – Foreground Plant for Aquariums and Terrariums, 1-2-Grow! Format
Littorella uniflora is a distinct aquatic plant recognized for its rosette-shaped, narrow leaves, offering a unique appearance in the foreground of freshwater aquariums. Native to the shores of lakes across Europe, North and South America, it is highly adaptable and can also be used in terrariums and paludariums due to its preference for moist environments.
This plant tolerates medium to low light but may elongate its leaves under low intensity, creating a more grassy look. Under stronger lighting, it stays compact and well-structured. To form a dense foreground carpet, plant each rosette a few centimeters apart, allowing even and consistent growth.
The Tropica 1-2-Grow! version is cultivated in a sterile lab environment, free from snails, algae, and pesticides, making it completely safe for shrimp and delicate fish species. The in-vitro cup format ensures healthy and clean propagation in aquariums.
