The manufacturer includes this fluorescent tube among those it defines as "complementary lights", it should therefore be used with the "basic lights" of the same company or in association with metal halide lamps.

The lamp has an intense blue color, with a peak at 450nm, making it suitable both for enhancing the fluorescence of some corals and for further stimulating the photosynthesis of symbionts.

ATI suggests using it in a ratio of 3:1 with AquaBlu Special, its basic tube.
