Product detail

D-D Coral Color Lens Gen 2 is a photographic lens designed to make marine aquarium photography easier and more natural under strong blue aquarium lighting. Modern reef lighting often uses high levels of blue light, making it difficult to capture photographs that accurately reproduce the colours of the aquarium.

The Gen 2 lens filters excessive blue light, allowing corals and marine aquariums to be photographed with more natural colour reproduction without temporarily changing the aquarium lighting spectrum or adjusting smartphone camera settings.

The new single Gen 2 lens features an integrated CPL (Circular Polarizing Lens) filter, providing improved colour rendering under both 15K and 20K lighting compared with the original version. The result is a more balanced image that is closer to what the eye sees when viewing the aquarium directly.

The Gen 2 also features a larger circular opening for smartphone camera lenses. Compared with the narrower opening of the Gen 1, the new design provides greater compatibility with modern smartphones and multi-camera configurations.

The lens is quick and easy to use: simply attach it using the clip-on holder to capture more natural and vibrant aquarium images. The kit includes the Gen 2 orange lens with CPL filter, the lens attachment and a cleaning cloth.
