ION-B CA/MG+ Liquid 2000 ml is a key component of the advanced Nyos® ION-B method, a modern dosing system developed for high-performance reef aquariums. The Nyos® ION-B method is designed to be simple, intuitive and fully adaptable to the individual needs of each reef, ensuring stable parameters, proper ionic balance and optimal coral growth conditions.
Using only two perfectly balanced solutions, the Nyos® ION-B system allows precise replenishment of calcium, magnesium and alkalinity consumed daily, effectively preventing ionic shift and helping to stabilize pH within the ideal range of 8.0 to 8.3. The method also enables accurate replenishment and regulation of all essential trace elements according to the aquarium’s needs.
Nyos® ION-B CA/MG+ is a concentrated liquid solution, pre-mixed and ready to use, formulated to increase and maintain proper calcium and magnesium levels. These elements are essential for coral calcification, coralline algae growth and overall reef stability. In addition to calcium and magnesium, the solution contains strontium, potassium and boron, which are crucial for correct ionic balance and long-term reef health.

5–10 ml per day per 100 liters (25 gallons) of aquarium water
Important note:
Calcium and alkalinity are consumed by corals in an approximate ratio of 1:7. Nyos® ION-B solutions are pre-formulated in the same 1:7 ratio, therefore in most cases equal amounts of both solutions should be dosed.
