CHARACTERISTICS
Protalon 707 is a combination of several sanitizers and has been tested with complete success. Thousands of aquarists know the effectiveness of this product that eliminates the biological causes of unwanted algae growth. The cause of these annoying proliferations is often inadequate lighting, excessive feeding, acidity, the amount of fish, the formation of organic deposits, the redox potential, carbon dioxide, oxygen, and their interaction.
ACTION
It successfully combats the factors that favor the development of filamentous algae, blue-green algae, green algae, brown algae, suspended algae, etc., including their intermediate forms, resulting harmless to fish and plants. At the beginning of the treatment the water may become a little cloudy, to regain its natural clarity within a few hours. The complete elimination of algae occurs within 2 - 6 weeks, depending on the type of algae and the composition of the water.
DIRECTIONS
After eliminating the green algae, some spots may remain on the leaves of the plants (the end of the algae, i.e. the fixation root) which will disappear within 3 - 4 days. You will then find that the foliage appears very clean and shiny, and that it shines like a mirror! The components of Protalon 707 act slowly but surely and the treatment does not cause the development of mucilage or loss of foliage. On the contrary, you will notice thicker vegetation. As already mentioned, the main factor is the elimination of the biological causes that provoke the proliferation of algae. The establishment of a good ecological balance prevents excessive algal development. In this sense, it is advisable to always have thick vegetation and maintain sufficient lighting (1.5 - 2 Watts per square decimeter of water, for 12-14 hours a day). Finally, to maintain the best balance, we recommend the use of esHa OPTIMA (trace elements, minerals, etc.) and esHa PRO-PHYLL (plant nutrients).
DOSAGE
Protalon 707 has been developed for use in the presence of fish and plants, therefore its use does not require special precautions. Normal filtration can be carried out.
1st day - bottle A: 50 drops per 100 liters of water
2nd day - bottle A: 12 drops per 100 liters of water
3rd day - bottle A: 12 drops per 100 liters of water bottle B: 10 drops per 100 liters of water
4th and 5th day no addition
6th day - bottle A: 25 drops per 100 liters of water bottle B: 20 drops per 100 liters of water
7th day - bottle A: 12 drops per 100 liters of water
End of treatment!
The rest of the contents of bottle B can be used as a preventative measure, at a rate of 10 drops per 100 liters, every 2 weeks
Warning:
In exceptional cases, i.e. when the presence of algae is greater than the plants, the treatment must be repeated after 14 days.
