The Exo Terra Glass Terrarium is the ideal home for your amphibian or reptile and was designed by European herpetologists. The opening front doors allow easy access for maintenance and feeding. A specially designed lock prevents escape and the doors can be opened separately. The ventilation in the upper part allows UVB and infrared penetration and is completely removable for easy access for decoration or cleaning. At the back there are 5 lockable grids or tube inlets on both sides to install Heat Wave Rocks, waterfalls, sensors, etc. The lower part of the terrarium is designed to mount a heating mat to heat a part of the floor surface. The additional fixed front window is ideal for thick layers of substrate, for aquatic parts (paludarium) or to mount a chosen den from the Exo Terra range. The background is the same color as all other Exo Terra decorative items (Water Dishes, Waterfalls, Heat Wave Rocks, etc.) offering a natural look as well as improved climbing ease.

The Exo Terra Terrarium Rock Background is easy to cut and gives a natural image to our micro environment. Ideal for climbing reptiles or simply for aesthetic purposes, these rock backgrounds are perfect for setting up a multidimensional habitat. They are made of black polystyrene and not white, so that damage is not evident, they have warm earth tones allowing for use in any type of terrarium, whether wet or dry. Polystyrene is also an excellent insulating material. The Exo Terra Rock Backgrounds have grooves to allow the passage of cables and/or pipes.
