REMEDIATION 150ml
Remediation™ uses bioaugmentation, a natural, non-chemical method, to improve water quality. The bacteria that come into play break down excess food, waste and debris in freshwater and seawater systems. Furthermore, they reduce excess nutrients (e.g. ammonia, nitrates and nitrites) which could favor the development of harmful and pathogenic organisms. The species of bacteria present in Remediation™ grow in fresh or salt water and can utilize a wide range of organic compounds, including fats which can cause the formation of unsightly films. Unlike traditional nitrifying bacteria, this mixture of bacteria is able to adapt to hostile or low-oxygen environments by continuing to multiply and improve water conditions. Biopolymers produced by established bacterial colonies capture particulates and increase water clarity.
HOW TO USE:
Shake well before use. Turn off UV and ozone. Use 1 full capful (5 ml) per 40 L. Then use a maintenance dose of 1 full capful (5 ml) per 80 L with additions of aquatic fauna or alteration of the biofilter through cleaning or feeding
of medicines. Before adding the bacteria, you need to remove the antibiotics with activated charcoal and a water change. Give the bacteria 2 to 3 days to stabilize before using UV or ozone sterilizers. Any recurring problems related to high nutrient levels may indicate a
overpopulation of aquatic fauna, copious feeding or an inadequate filter system.
NOTE: Each internal thread of the cap is approximately 1 ml. A full cap is 30ml.
